RUNAWAY

Living a Life Without Surrender

This three-part dive into the book of Jonah walks students and leaders through all of Jonah to see a prophet who we would like to believe is over 2,000 years removed from us but, as it happens, turns out to share so much more with us than we imagine. Jonah is called by God, gifted by God, and given a greater story of revival than any other person in history. Yet, because he refuses to surrender his will to God, he lives in misery and discipline. This study helps us see what calling looks like, true repentance, being genuinely used by God, and having true joy in our calling as believers.

MASQUERADE

Spotlights, Snakes, and Tombs

Jesus’ harshest words were directed at the Pharisees. They possessed the knowledge, the ability to share the truth, and the opportunity to serve the people as God intended in the Old Testament. Yet, they abandoned it to make much of themselves with little regard for others. This study breaks down several of Jesus’ most memorable interactions with the Pharisees and allows us to evaluate our own hearts with His words.

EVEN IF...

Crowds, Bullies, and Blind Men

This is a powerful three-session study focusing on Luke 18:35-19:10, covering Jesus' journey through Jericho on the way to the Cross. The study and passage challenge us with this question: Will I follow Jesus even if He isn’t what I thought He was, even if He costs me everything I hold dear, and even if He costs me everything I know? This passage in the Gospel explains the power of Jesus through the main players: Jesus, the crowd, Zacchaeus, and the blind beggar Bartimaeus.

PHILEMON

How God's Grace Redifines Us

Grace not only transforms our hearts but also transforms our relationships. The freedom we find in God’s grace changes every aspect of our lives. It is no different now than it was in the first century. In this short letter from Paul to his friend and partner Philemon, Paul loves, challenges, and encourages him to let the love of Christ radically change him by freeing his slave Onesimus. Students and leaders will walk through the book three separate times, exploring a different person each time—Paul, Philemon, and Onesimus—realizing that, in our lives as Christ-followers, we will at different times be like Paul, calling others to be like Christ; like Philemon, with the choice to extend the grace that was given to us; or like Onesimus, in need of that grace and choosing obedience over fear.

FOUND

The Parables of the Lost...

Looking deeply into what it means to be found. We often hear what it means to be lost, but what does it truly mean for us to be found by God? Have we truly been found? This three-session study breaks down the parables of the Lost Coin, the Lost Sheep, the Lost Sons, and the Dishonest Manager (Luke 15-16:8). These parables not only allow us to see the depravity of sin and lostness but also the wonder, depth, and joy of what it means to be found!
